Raynham, MA According to Bridgewater Savings Bank its employees and the BSB Charitable Foundation has made a donation of $2,000 to School on Wheels of MA (SOWMA).
SOWMA is a non-profit organization with a mission to educate children impacted by homelessness by providing academic support and one-on-one mentoring so that children can reach their full potential. Many children impacted by homelessness attend schools located in our communities.
During the week of August 24, all Bridgewater Savings Bank locations collected school supplies from customers and employees. BSB Employees also donated money to dress in jeans on August 28.
With an additional contribution from the Bridgewater Savings Charitable Foundation, a total of $2,000 was donated to SOWMA plus over $500 in school supplies including backpacks, crayons, notebooks, rulers, glue sticks, binders, markers and much more.
