The Mega Group secures two leases totaling 3,080 s/f at Commodore Plaza

North Beverly, MA As retail property owners and broker’s are scrambling to replace vacancies with new service oriented uses, The Mega Group is filling occupancy at its quickest turnover rate in four-years.  According to Jennifer DApice, the Danvers Mass.-based firm’s director, lease agreements have been secured for two tenants that will occupy retail suites in the 43,380 s/f Commodore Plaza on Rte. 1A.

DApice represented the landlord and fetched SoBol, who just opened for business in a 1,540 s/f inline suite formerly occupied by Subway, who have built-out a brand new cafe that specializes in acai bowls, pitaya bowls and fruit smoothies. Based in Patchogue N.Y., this will be the company’s 30th store and the first in Mass. by franchisees Natalie and Sylvia Rocha.

Expedia CruiseShip Centers will occupy another 1,540 s/f inline retail suite in the same shopping center and will open its doors in February 2019.  Expedia CruiseShipCenters, based in Vancouver B.C. Canada, is a travel agency franchise company, specializing in marketing and sales of cruise vacations worldwide.  Franchisee Mark Dawson’s Beverly location will be the company’s 236th location.  

Todd Alexander, the managing director of Newmark Knight Frank’s Boston headquarters represented the tenant and Brian DApice, The Mega Group’s principal represented the landlord.
