The Marr Companies names Swanton as accounting manager

Brian Swanton

Boston, MA The Marr Companies have appointed Brian Swanton as accounting manager. He will work closely with the company’s CFO and is responsible for the management of all centralized accounting functions for the four Marr entities.

Swanton comes to Marr with solid experience in the accounting field. Most recently, he was senior property accountant with The RMR Group, Newton. Prior to that, he was senior assurance associate with Marcum, LLP, Boston. Swanton grew up in Foxboro, and is a graduate of Foxboro High School and Babson College. He earned a master of science in Accountancy from the Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.

Swanton brings a well-rounded resourcefulness to Marr and the early leadership skills he exhibited on the athletic fields in high school and in college will be an asset to the Marr team. The company is looking forward to his future contributions.
