Hartford, CT The Construction Institute of the University of Hartford, named the panels and keynote speakers for the 2017 Women Who Build Leadership and Networking Summit, a premier event for architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, owners/operators (AECO), lawyers, accountants, and other professionals in the industry. The event is being held February 22 at the University of Hartford campus.
The Construction Institute is excited to announce that Paulette Brown, the immediate past president of the American Bar Association (ABA) and the first African-American female to hold that position, will serve as the keynote speaker. Brown will share her experiences as a groundbreaking woman having held a variety of leaderships positions during her career. Rashda Rana, an internationally known construction arbitrator and mediator, and president of Arbitral Woman will start the day with an opening keynote on the power of diversity in driving business success and decision making.
