Suffolk hires Riordan as COO of education in northeast

Boston, MA Suffolk hired Christian Riordan as its new COO of education in the northeast. Riordan is responsible for developing strategy for Suffolk’s education sector work, identifying and strengthening client relationships, recruiting and developing teams, overseeing preconstruction efforts, and ensuring all education projects adhere to Suffolk’s highest safety and quality standards.

Riordan’s industry experience spans more than 26 years. Prior to joining Suffolk, Riordan spent 17 years at Consigli Construction where he oversaw sophisticated higher-ed projects in Greater Boston for clients including Harvard University, MIT, Bentley University, Brandeis University and Wentworth Institute of Technology. He has also overseen numerous K-12 school building construction projects throughout his career.

Riordan is a LEED-accredited professional and is certified by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
