Suffolk Const. Co. awarded contract at Sheraton Hotel
Suffolk Construction Company, Inc., has been awarded a contract to completely renovate guest rooms, suites, and guest corridors on 24 floors of the North Tower at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. The soft goods and case goods renovation will include all new furniture, fixtures and textiles; carpeting; and wall coverings. Suffolk will also renovate the hotel's Club (concierge) Lounge. Tight scheduling and sequencing will be required to complete this project successfully, since the project team will be working on several floors simultaneously throughout the duration of work.
Suffolk expects construction to begin in January with completion scheduled for July 2009.
