Suffolk and Massport partner with USO to make 1,000 care packages for active duty military

Boston, MA Suffolk and the Mass. Port Authority (Massport) partnered with the USO to produce 1,000 USO care packages for active-duty military members. Suffolk, Massport and the USO are honored to come together, show gratitude, and spread holiday cheer to deployed service members by putting together care packages for those who can’t be home this holiday season. Suffolk, Massport, the USO and more than 50 volunteers gathered at Boston Logan International Airport to prepare 1,000 care packages during an event and initiative supporting our service members. A speaking program was held outside the USO Center at Boston Logan International Airport, featuring Ed Freni, interim CEO of Massport, John Fish, chairman and CEO of Suffolk, and lieutenant general Scott Rice, director, Air National Guard, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
