Studio G Architects partners with Victory Programs, Inc. on renovation project at enVision Hotel

Boston, MA Studio G Architects has collaborated with Victory Programs, Inc. (VPI) on a transformative supportive housing renovation project at the former enVision Hotel. The project will provide critical shelter services and permanent supportive housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

This renovation is part of VPI’s ongoing efforts to support the community by providing dignified, long-term housing solutions. The city’s recent announcement of VPI’s acquisition of the enVision Hotel marks a significant step in this initiative. The renovated space will be designed with a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach, ensuring a healing environment that promotes the safety, well-being, and dignity of its residents.

“We are honored to partner with Victory Programs, Inc. on such an important project,” said Gabriela Shelburne, principal at Studio G Architects. “Our design approach will focus on creating a space that fosters healing and provides a supportive environment for individuals in recovery. This aligns with our ongoing work to design spaces that support the goals of housing stability and recovery, such as previous collaborations with organizations like Heading Home.”

The enVision Hotel renovation will include essential services to support the health and well-being of residents, including access to on-site services, counseling, and community-building activities. Studio G Architects’ team is committed to ensuring that the project’s design supports not just the physical needs of the building, but also the emotional and psychological needs of the people who will call it home.

“The acquisition of the former enVision Hotel is a crucial step forward in our mission to provide safe and supportive housing for individuals who have long been marginalized, historically difficult to engage, and excluded from traditional supportive housing options,” said Sarah Porter, president and CEO at Victory Programs, Inc.

With this project, VPI and Studio G Architects aim to make a lasting impact in the fight against homelessness, providing a blueprint for future supportive housing projects that prioritize dignity, safety, and long-term stability.
