Stratton of The Geenty Group brokers $605,000 sale of 3,000 s/f bldg.

Mill Pond Veterinary Hospital, represented by Barry Stratton of The Geenty Group, Realtors of Branford, has purchased the former 3,000 s/f Seven Eleven Store at 229 East Main St. for $605,000. The buyer's attorney for the transaction was Alphonse Ippolito of Fasano, Ippolito, and Lee of New Haven. The seller, U. S. Trust Company of Los Angeles, was also represented by Stratton. Mill Pond Veterinary Hospital specializes in small animal care and they feel that the move from their location at 234 East Main St. will allow them to continue to give their clients great customer care and improve the services they already offer at this larger facility. In another transaction, J.P. Kempf Co., Inc., a high end refrigeration sales, service and repair company, has leased 2,070 s/f of warehouse/storage space in a 6,000 s/f building at 10 Higgins Dr., Milford. William Clark of The Geenty Group, Realtors represented both the landlord and the tenant. J.P. Kempf Co. Inc. is a growing company and is leasing the space for expansion.
