Standard Builders receives 2014 ACG Build CT Award

Standard Builders will be recognized at the 67th AGC/CT Annual Meeting and Build CT Awards dinner for the West Campus Dining Services project at Yale University. Construction manager for the 6,000 s/f renovation to an existing corporate café located on the former Bayer Pharmaceutical campus, Standard Builders' preconstruction planning and procurement strategies enhanced the team's ability to manage logistical challenges and meet a fast-track schedule. The goal for the facility was to create an intimate space with high-tech equipment, amenities and high-quality food. The new facility now houses a catering kitchen, eating areas with a water feature, auditorium, administrative offices, lounge, game room and meeting space. A gathering point for the community, this new hub for science and research will serve 1,000 people who will be studying or working on West Campus. This is the fifth Build CT Award received by Standard Builders since 2006.
