Special permit approved for Nordblom's 270,000 s/f office project at 25 Network Drive, Burlington

The Burlington Planning Board has unanimously approved Nordblom Company's application for a 270,000 s/f office building at 25 Network Dr. This six-story class-A office building will be constructed at Nordblom's Network Dr. campus. Tamie Thompson, Alex Dauria and Tyler Spring from JLL are marketing the build to suit opportunity for Nordblom. "Vacancy is evaporating in Burlington and we wanted to make sure we were shovel-ready for the next big tenant. We are seeing strong organic growth from existing tenants in our portfolio, as well as healthy demand from large-block office users and life science companies," said Todd Fremont-Smith, senior vice president and director of mixed-use projects. Network Dr. was acquired by Nordblom Co. in 2007 and integrated into its Northwest Park master plan, which also includes the 3rd Ave. restaurant and shopping district. This 158-acre office campus features world headquarters for technology and life science companies including Exa, Dyax, Veracode, e-Bay Enterprise, Avid Tech., and NetBrain, plus a regional facility for Oracle.
