Some exciting programs are underway for the fall season
What a great summer it has been! Our annual Gus Johnson Golf Outing in July was a huge success. Over 140 golfers took to the links on a beautiful day after enjoying lunch, purchasing raffle tickets for some wonderful prizes, and participating in some contests. The course was in great shape and the play progressed smoothly. Cocktails on the patio and a wonderful dinner buffet made for a perfect ending to the day. Raffle prizes and awards were presented by the Emcee, Bob Joyce, Voice of the UConn Women's Basketball team. Thanks to our many sponsors who make this such a successful event: Titanium Sponsor: New England Mechanical/NEMSI, Graphite Sponsor: Interstate Restoration, Cocktail Sponsor: Siemens, and Cart Sponsor: LAZ Parking. Many thanks, too, to all of our other sponsors. Their continued support is greatly appreciated.
As the fall season gets underway, we are developing some exciting programs. On Sept 20, the timely and important topic of ASHRAE and their standards and requirements will be discussed. This is a must attend program for all property managers and building engineers. This breakfast meeting will take place at The Hartford Club at 7:30 a.m.
On October 11, the Annual TOBY Awards dinner will take place at 960 Main in Hartford. We will be awarding three TOBYs and four Honoree awards. This event is always a great night of networking, fabulous food and laughs. Invitations have been mailed to all members.
