SIOR Northeast Conference comes to Boston March 24th - 25th

Boston, MA March 24th-25th marks another highly anticipated conference for the Society of Industrial Office Realtors’ (SIOR) Northeast region. As a global network of 3,600 commercial real estate brokers and office professionals, SIOR accredits brokers for knowledge and ethical standards within the real estate industry.

With two pivotal years of disruption and re-engagement, this year’s conference covers four sectors – office space, last mile industrial properties, Seaport District’s growth as a luxury market and the continuously ascending life science industry. This conference opens with perspectives on office solutions, leasing velocity and rental rates in NY, NJ and MA. The second session examines developer strategies, costs and pressures incurred by demand velocity for large scale industrial space within MA, CT and NJ markets. With over 5 million s/f of space, the Seaport District has metamorphosized from a WWII ammunitions manufacturing area to a luxury residential, retail and lab cluster. Session three explores the dynamics of this transformation and pertinent issues for the next 10 years of development. The conference concludes with the burgeoning life science market, with a comprehensive overview on lab facility criteria, bringing drug products to market and lab clustering.

The conference is being held at the Boston Properties Building on the Atlantic Warf. Pending availability, tickets may be purchased by non-SIOR members after March 1st.
