SIOR national convention planned for May 4-7
SIOR is planning its next national convention from May 4-7 at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. The theme is Coming Out on Top. The hotel is located in the master-planned, 730-acre Kierland Community which is tucked among the McDowell Mountains and Sonoran Desert. The Westin Kierland offers a host of options to entertain guests of all ages.
On May 4 excursion trips are scheduled by SIOR. Thus far, the General Sessions include the following: Opening General Session featuring Jack Canfield, author of Chicken Soup for the Soul series. As the beloved originator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, Canfield fostered the emergence of inspirational anthologies as a genre, and watched it grow to a billion dollar market. The Saturday General Session: Economic Outlook for 2011 includes speaker: Mark Dotzour, PhD, Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University. Join Dr. Dotzour as he provides an economic update and discusses the current state of the economy and his economic outlook for 2011.
