Shair of M&J Associates, Inc. and Doherty of Mercury Properties Group broker 23,000 s/f lease to Harbor Freight Tools
According to Mark Shair, M&J Associates, Inc., Harbor Freight Tools has opened
at Westgate Mall.
Harbor Freight has leased 23,000 s/f on Westgate Dr. directly across from the main entrance to Westgate Mall. The location is at the intersection of Rte. 24 and Rte. 27. The space was formerly occupied by Circuit City.
Shair said, "Harbor Freight is a strong addition to the major tenant mix at Westgate Mall. The
mall has been upgraded and expanded. Market Basket was added last year and the mall plus major
anchor stores, offices and hotels is now over 1.5 million s/f."
Harbor Freight Tools is a national retail chain with nearly 500 stores in the U.S. It is the largest retailer of
hand and power tools and is rapidly expanding. They recently opened a store in Braintree, Mass. as well.
