ServiceMaster by Gilmore receives Community Service Award

ServiceMaster Clean and Restore held their International Conference two months ago and recognized the franchisees who received awards, one of them being ServiceMaster by Gilmore of Greater Boston. The Ken Hansen Community Service Award recognizes social and civic contributions to employees and community that Ken Hansen displayed. One of Hansen's outstanding traits was his desire to give, not only financially, but of himself, as he invested his time in various individuals and organizations. The award is not given every year, but only when a business goes above and beyond in serving. "Steve Gilmore, ServiceMaster by Gilmore of Framingham, Mass. and his team are committed to all of the communities they touch, employees, vendors, customers, and the larger community," said Tom Coba, president of ServiceMaster Franchise Services Group, at the awards banquet. "In the past year alone this franchise completed 74 pro bono jobs, raised $30,000 in honor of a customer injured in the Boston Marathon bombings, and raised almost $50,000 for a number of other organizations. And this is a typical year for them." Coba noted that Gilmore's team truly embodies the ServiceMaster vision, not just serving others when they have the time or resources, but finding a way to enrich the lives of others by whatever means possible. "This team reminds us that Service is not a job, it is an honor," said Coba. ServiceMaster by Gilmore is an award winning disaster restoration company specializing in cleanup following water, fire, mold and hoarding damage in commercial and residential properties in Greater Boston. Having been in business for over 30 years, they are able to provide quality service to customers by utilizing latest technologies to put them back in business fast. This year, ServiceMaster by Gilmore received the President's Award from ServiceMaster Restore, recognizing them as one of the largest businesses in the U.S. specializing in disaster restoration.
