Schaffer of Press/Cuozzo leases 11,720 s/f to Prometheus Research
According to Stephen Press, principal of Press/Cuozzo Commercial Services, senior leasing broker Ted Schaffer has completed a long-term lease for a full floor at 55 Church St. Prometheus Research, LLC has signed a lease for 11,720 s/f on the seventh floor.
Prometheus has been developing software and offering research informatics services to clients for over ten years. Prometheus Research provides its customers database services with its focus primarily on biomedical and scientific research. Prometheus Research Informatics is used by world-renowned researchers at major universities around the world providing web-based systems for collaboration, information management, and secure access to scientific data.
Schaffer represented the landlord and the tenant was represented by Robert Adnopoz of Colliers Dow and Condon's New Haven office.
55 Church St. is a joint venture of The Rose Smart Growth Investment Fund I, LP and Hurley 45-55 Church Street, LLC, an affiliate of The Hurley Group.
Schaffer has also been appointed exclusive leasing agent for the property at 475-477 Elm St., West Haven. The Armstrong Complex, a 550,000 s/f warehouse/manufacturing and office facility is situated in a Transit Oriented Development zone with a total of 72,000 s/f available for immediate occupancy. Unit A offers 12,000 s/f and includes 16-ft. ceiling height, 200 amp / 3 phase electrical service, one 14-ft. drive-in door, and two shared loading docks. Unit B offers 60,000 s/f and includes 22-ft. ceiling height, 1200 amp / 3 phase electrical service, one 14-ft. drive-in door, one 14-ft. loading dock and a 5/10 ton crane. Both units are sprinklered and provide grade level access on Saw Mill Rd. The units are available for lease.
