Santiago and Quinn of SVN | Parsons Commercial broker $1.04 million sale

Mansfield, MA SVN | Parsons Commercial Group | Boston has completed the $1.04 million sale of a 14,151 s/f mixed-use building at 26 Otis St. to Brian and Mary Pat McSharry of Closet and Storage Concepts. Senior advisors, Marilyn Santiago and Garrett Quinn of SVN | Parsons Commercial represented the buyer, and Bill Kingdon of Ellis Realty Advisors represented the seller, IGW Realty Trust, in the transaction.

26 Otis St. was built in 1900 and was a mix of several uses including a Country Store and Emporium, as well as a furniture warehouse. The building is located on Otis St. which runs between School St. and Gilbert St. and is in proximity to I-95 and I-495.

The McSharry’s will be moving their business, Closet and Storage Concepts, into the building. The business is family-owned and operated specializing in customized home organization solutions.

As a way to honor the history of the building, the new owners plan to also reserve 3,300 s/f of the building to open a smaller version of the Old Country Store called 1829 Country Store.

“26 Otis St. was a unique transaction consisting of a landmark building in Mansfield, MA. The building’s large footprint and warehouse offered a myriad of opportunities but most importantly a warehouse in a currently constrained market,” Santiago said.
