Russell of Pearce Real Estate sells 6.5 acres, with two buildings

Orange, CT Senior commercial broker Carl Russell, CCIM, SIOR, of Pearce Real Estate, brokered the sale of a large parcel of land with two buildings.

Russell represented the seller and facilitated the sale of 62 Carlson Rd. between Milford-based Carlson Road Limited Partnership and the buyer, ABF Freight System, Inc., a short- and long-haul transportation service company headquartered in Fort Smith, AR.

The 6.5 acre parcel is located in a light industrial zone between the Amazon distribution center and LA Fitness, and includes two buildings totaling 26,000 s/f. The co-broker was Laurence Casey of Cushman & Wakefield of Iselin, N.J.

Russell, who specializes in investment analysis, has a long affiliation with Pearce Real Estate, and more than four decades in the commercial real estate profession. during which he has received many awards; among them the 2021 Land Sale Deal of the Year Award from the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.

In addition to CCIM, Russell is a member of the SOCIETY OF INDUSTRIAL AND OFFICE REALTORS (SIOR). Russell has served as a past president of the Greater New Haven Association of REALTORS and an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Real Estate at New York University. Russell continues to teach regularly on the national level for CCIM.
