Melissa Roy, resident of Manchester, Conn. and business development associate at Consigli Construction Co., Inc., has been elected to the board of directors of the Professional Women in Construction Connecticut Chapter (PWC-CT) for 2012-2013.
With more than a decade of experience working in the construction industry, Roy is responsible for Consigli's project development throughout Conn., Western Mass. and the Berkshires. In addition to being an active member of the PWC-CT since its inception in 2005 and serving on its scholarship committee and as a mentor, Roy has served as director and vice president for the National Association of Women in Construction, Chapter 165, participates annually in Rebuilding Together, and has completed a number of builds with Habitat for Humanity, including several WomenBuild events.
