Ribbon cutting held at the 9,500 s/f State Police Air Wing Hangar Feb. 9th
An official ribbon cutting ceremony for the State Police Air Wing Hangar was held February 9th at 35 Lonczak Dr.
The 9,500 s/f facility houses two helicopters and several state-trooper air crews who provide search and rescue support, law enforcement, surveillance, and statewide public safety support by the Mass. Tactical Operations "Air Wing."
Speakers included officers and directors of Westover Metro. Dev. Corp.; senator Michael Knapik; representative Joseph Wagner; city of Chicopee mayor Michael Bissonnette and others.
