RI Next Generation Program & Reception-Sept. 30

The inaugural Rhode Island Next Generation Program & Reception will be held on September 30, at the Providence Piers, 200 Allens Ave. The program is entitled "Retail in Rhode Island: The Economic and Industry Perspective". The keynote speaker is Edward Mazze, a professor of Business Administration at the University of Rhode Island, member of the board of directors of public corporations including Washington Trust Bancorp, and author and speaker on various business topics, will present his thoughts on "Retailing and the Rhode Island Economy". Following Mazze's analysis, Syed Husain, director of corporate acquisitions and real estate for CVS Caremark Corp., will share his perspective on the state of retail real estate in Rhode Island and CVS' experiences in its hometown and nationally.
