REFA's Young Professionals Network helps individuals with real estate

Last year The Real Estate Finance Association of Connecticut (REFA) formed a Young Professionals Network (REFA YPN) with the objective of helping individuals that are new to, or lightly experienced in, the commercial real estate industry and who desire to better establish themselves within the professional real estate community. We are happy to report that both the Fairfield/Westchester and Hartford Chapters have had a number of events that allow our young professionals to learn and network with many of REFA's seasoned professionals. In July, REFA YPs in both chapters participated in Habitat for Humanity builds. The Fairfield/Westchester chapter YPs helped on a build site in Bridgeport, while the Hartford chapter YPs assisted in the building of two homes in Bristol. The REFA YPN provides young professionals an opportunity to get involved with events and programs that will provide exposure to all facets of the industry and to build and establish new relationships while advancing industry knowledge, fostering career growth, and having a rewarding and enjoyable time while doing so.
