REFA Emerging Leaders membership hits an all-time high

REFA created the Emerging Leader membership in 2005 to develop the next generation of industry leaders. REFA's membership is now at an all-time high with close to 200 Emerging Leader members, and has grown every year since its creation. REFA Emerging Leaders have their own committee that is dedicated to developing programming to help facilitate networking and career advancement. These programs have included the highly popular Emerging Leaders Series, industry panels and community service projects. The REFA Emerging Leaders has already been very active in 2014, having Intercontinental Real Estate Corp.'s CEO Peter Palandjian host their first Emerging Leaders Series of the year on January 21st. The Emerging Leaders have also planned their first volunteer event of the year at the Greater Boston Food Bank - for April 23rd. Marci Loeber, principal and chief investment officer of Griffith Properties LLC, will talk about her career and offer her insights on the industry at the next REFA Emerging Leaders Series event on April 30th. Loeber has a long history with REFA that includes being honored with the Robert S. Swain Jr. Distinguished Service Award (along with her father and sister) in 2000, and holding the position of REFA president in 2010. Loeber has been in the commercial real estate industry for close to 20 years, and has closed over 500 investment sales transactions, a number of which have won the Commercial Brokers Association's "Investment Sales Deal of the Year." Prior to Griffith Properties LLC, Loeber worked for Cushman & Wakefield and Fallon Hines & O'Connor/Trammell Crow Company.
