Boston, MA The Real Estate Finance Association (REFA) would like to congratulate 2024 REFA president-elect Jill Sharif, Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company - NCS as the recipient of CREW Boston’s 2024 Leadership Award! Congratulations to all other winners!

REFA Emerging Leaders joined BXP for their Office Pricing Presentation, sponsored by BXP. The event featured Emerging Leaders Jessica Bursma, senior financial analyst, Boston Properties (BXP) and Dante Pantaleo, financial analyst on the finance & capital markets team, Boston Properties (BXP). They presented the key determinates of office pricing across six markets. The presentation was the result of a multi-year research effort led by the BXP Finance & Capital Markets team. Emerging Leaders finished the presentation with a happy hour sponsored by BXP.

REFA members attended an exclusive tour at 15 Necco St. at the end of April. The tour kicked off with a presentation by REFA board of director, Naomi Mayeux Seck, senior vice president, National Development. Following the tour members gathered for a networking reception at Lolita Fort Point.

REFA’s DEI Committee will be hosting their first panel discussion on June 18^th. This engaging session will showcase esteemed speakers: Onay Payne, senior managing director at Manulife Investment Management, and Ralph Parent, managing partner at Parent + Diamond. Together, they will explore the pressing societal challenges confronting people of color within the industry and share invaluable insights on pathways to success. More information to come. REFA’s Workouts 101 panel discussion, featuring speakers, Andrew Gray, head of restructing management, Citizens Bank, Tammy Goldfisher, co-founder and principal, The Henley Group, Inc., and more to be announced soon!

• REFA’s Charitable Golf & Tennis Tournament - Monday, July 29^th, Woodland Golf Club
REFA’s Annual Charitable Golf & Tennis Tournament will be held at a new course this year due to Dedham Country & Polo Club undergoing renovations. Both tournaments help support our charitable partners, Breaktime and FamilyAid Boston. More information will be announced this month.
