Education: Undergraduate studies at University of Mass.-Boston, Suffolk University, Law, Senior Professional Human Resource (SPHR) Certification and Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Prior experience: Mass. Office of the Attorney General as a financial investigator, and I interned at one of the large accounting firms in the tax department. More recently, I have completed the exam and met the requirements to attain SPHR Certification. After law school, I worked at the Mass. Attorney General Office as an assistant attorney general in the Fair Labor Division. While there I was a prosecutor and I worked with criminal and civil rights enforcement of wage and other workplace laws.
Why did you decide to be a lawyer: My appreciation for our legal system and my desire to be able to work with and help others.
What do you think makes a successful lawyer: Knowledge and the ability to listen and hear. Be open minded, remain focused on the matters at hand, be candid and remain a partner with his or her clients and solving in a way that finds thoughtful solutions.
Hobbies: I enjoy chasing my twin nephews around New York City and attending shows as well as skiing.
