What your firm does now and its plans for the future?: Bernkopf Goodman has exceptional practice areas in commercial real estate, litigation, corporate, business and bankruptcy. Our plans for the future are to control our growth to ensure that we provide high quality, timely and cost-effective services to our clients and wise counsel for all their legal matters.
Tell me about your area of practice?: My principal practice areas are real estate and business law, with particular emphasis on commercial leasing, the acquisition, management and sale of properties, financing transactions and commercial loan workouts. I represent commercial landlords and tenants of retail, office, laboratory and warehouse space, developers, hotel and restaurant operators, fiduciaries, brokers, and lawyers.

Hobbies: Pottery, photography, skiing, reading, body surfing and hiking
If you had to choose a different profession, what would it be?: A principal and teacher at an elementary school or as a professional potter.
Is there anything you can share that might surprise others?: In Aspen, Colorado, I went hang gliding on skis, frequently landing in the parking lot. I worked with children and families for six years, and during a part of that time, I was the director of the Cambridge Community Center Childcare Program and co-chair of the Cambridge Daycare Alliance with over 40 member programs serving over 2,000 children and their families.
