What was your first position/job in the A/E/C Industry? Junior interior designer with Tai Soo Kim Partners in Hartford, CT
Why and/or how did you decide on the A/E/C Industry? Growing up I was always interested in color and well-designed interior spaces, but it wasn’t until freshman year of college that I knew I was in the right industry. Learning about space planning, color theory, and interior design felt natural, challenging, and fun. Ten years later, I still enjoy it.
What projects have you participated on? I am responsible for interior design coordination as well as project furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) packages. I am currently working on CREC Ana Grace Academy for the Arts Elementary School, Quinnipiac University: Catholic Center, and The O’Connell Companies in MA. Recent projects include UConn Putnam Refectory, Phoenix Hartford, Middlesex Community College, the Visual and Performing Arts Center at WCSU and Quinebaug Valley Middle College High School in Danielson, CT.
