Education: NHTI General Studies, Credit Certified “AmeriCredit” Fort Worth TX, IREM ARM & IREM CPM Candidate First job outside of real estate: At 16 … as a busboy at a fancy Italian bistro. The best perk? Free dinner at the end of the night! First job in real estate or allied field: As an agent. Then I entered the world of property management as a leasing agent, wearing out several pairs of shoes pounding the pavement of Manchester, NH. What do you do now and what are you planning for the future?: I oversee a foreclosed rental contract across 13 states. Our primary objective is to support, stabilize and manage residential occupied foreclosed multifamily properties. I also direct local, state, and privately-owned investment properties in Southern NH. Definitely see myself continuing in property management because I’m on-track to get CPM designation this fall … and also fortunate to work at Cityside, where we are expanding and recreating ourselves, so there is always a challenge waiting around the corner! How do you unwind from a busy day in real estate?: Gardening. Taking a half-hour to work in the garden always does the trick to unwind. Also really enjoy participating in and coaching my kids’ sports leagues. Favorite book or author: “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie. Treat people with respect, work hard, and build great relationships … and you will do well in life. Favorite movie: My wife and I love all types of comedy movies. We have kids so Pixar movies rock, too! I’m always asking my kids if they want to watch their favorite movie, How to Train Your Dragon, for the 100th time…ha! Last song you downloaded?: I stream music and really enjoy all types from country, rock and more. My wife and I love to dance so hip-hop music is a part of my playlist, too. One word to describe your work environment: Evolving. People who are creative, flexible and motivated will do very well at Cityside. Rules to live by in business: It’s crucial you perfect your ability to communicate and project positivity so people feel valued and included in your common goal to succeed and achieve great things. Also, treat others the way you want to be treated -- and, at all costs, avoid negativity and negative people. If you could invite one person to dinner (living or dead) who would it be and where would you go?: Going to bend the rules of this question and invite Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Donald Trump and Elon Musk to the table. Think it would be cool to pick their brains for an evening sitting at a nice seafood restaurant by the coast. Big bonus if there’s great calamari and (of course) good wine! What is your dream job?: Professional golfer. In the meantime, I’d like to be a consultant to the real estate industry concentrating in the world of asset management and operations because I love this work and the people in our industry.
