What does your firm do and any plans for the future?: CIC is an economic development lender providing access to capital and practical guidance to entrepreneurs in Conn. and R.I. We hope to expand our territory to Southern Mass. in the near future.
How did you get your start in this business and why?: I recognized my interest in economic and business development while working for the New Haven Jazz Festival and reaching out to local businesses to encourage their involvement. From there it was on to municipal economic development roles in East Hartford & Meriden, and four years ago, I was given the opportunity to parlay that experience into small business lending which I find incredibly rewarding.

Are you a member of an association related to the CRE Industry?: In the process of applying for membership to CREW-CT, and a member of CT Economic Development Association (CEDAS) and Northeast Economic Development Association (NEDA).
