New England SIORs attend an afternoon at Yankee Stadium on September 7th
December 29, 2007 - Spotlights
The New England and Tri-State New York Chapters of SIOR and CCIM organized an All-Star networking afternoon and night, not to be forgotten, at Yankee Stadium on Friday, September 7th. Over 300 of the premier commercial brokers in the northeast attended this event with a guided on-field tour of Yankee Stadium held on Friday afternoon with a major reception. Legendary Yankee and Red Sox former players met with the New England SIORs. The afternoon was truly the All-Star commercial real estate networking event.
Although no game was scheduled during this event, it was great business networking opportunity to mingle with other SIORs, CCIMs and commercial brokers from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and the remainder of New England. The venue was Yankee Stadium, the house that Ruth built, and is in its final year as it will be demolished. A new adjacent Yankee Stadium is under construction.
The New England SIOR Chapter co-sponsored this networking and social event along with the CCIM Institute, NYSCAR and the CCIM/SIOR Chapters of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Many of the attendees made a weekend in New York out of this event.
More information will be detailed in the next issue.
