Burlington Machine, Inc. has moved from Woburn to 340 Fordham Rd., and doubled its space to more than 10,000 s/f in the process. The Wilmington facility is owned by Cummings Foundation, Inc. and managed by Cummings Properties, LLC of Woburn.
According to company officials, Burlington Machine manufactures precision machine parts for the medical, automotive, aerospace and electronics industries, as well as many others. The firm reportedly looked at several options to meet its expanding space requirements before selecting 340 Fordham Road.
Owner John Haroutunian of Burlington Machine said, "We are excited to join Cummings Properties. A current Cummings Properties client recommended its affordable rates and great customer service. Combine those with the location, and we knew we had the perfect place for us to conduct our growing business."
Steve Costa, a Cummings Properties leasing/property manager was the representative for the lease negotiation.
"The building itself has great curb appeal featuring an upgraded facade, complete with new entries and operable windows," he said. "With superb highway access and ample free parking, this is a great area for many businesses," said Costa
Cummings Properties reportedly performed the design and construction with its own employees extremely quickly. "The previous client vacated the space on January 1. Sixty days later, we had a custom buildout and a full building renovation completed for Burlington Machine," Costa said.
The 340 Fordham Road complex is located directly off of Interstate 93 near the Shriners Auditorium and close to the North Reading line. The area offers many dining and shopping options including a Wal-Mart, Marshalls and Super Stop & Shop.
