Godin of Matthews Commercial Properties brokers $3.6m sale of 47,000 s/f facility

Ed Godin, Jr., a partner at Matthews Commercial Properties, represented the seller and Joe Wrinn of Goodfellow Ashmore represented the buyer in the recent sale of 594 Pepper St. The high quality 47,000 s/f facility, situated on 9.3 acres just off Rte. 25, sold for $3.6 million.
The purchaser, Church Hill Classics, specializes in high quality diploma, certificate and award frames as well as full service graphics and print design. Church Hill is relocating from Danbury and significantly expanding their operations.
Godin also represented a prominent Waterbury based medical group, specializing in women's' health care, in the purchase of a 10,000 s/f office building at 10 Main St. South in Southbury. The medical group has commenced a complete rehabilitation and upgrade of the property and will occupy a portion for a satellite office. The rare freestanding facility is on nearly one acre at the corner of Rte. 6 at Exit 15 of I-84 and sold for $1.3 million.
