Buckingham Partners & Sun Homes plan $125m Palmer Hill
November 19, 2007 - Connecticut
Buckingham Partners and Sun Homes plan development of Palmer Hill, a private community ideally positioned where Stamford meets Old Greenwich. The $125 million community development, slated for a summer 2008 delivery, will feature 81 condominium homes and 114 townhouses situated on nearly 20 acres of park-like grounds.
Palmer Hill will be located at 77 Havemeyer Ln. on the former office campus which housed the Dorr-Oliver Company and later served as the corporate headquarters of Cuisinart. The location is convenient to both the Stamford and Old Greenwich train stations, and provides easy access to I-95 and the Merritt Pkwy.
Buckingham Partners, headquartered in Haddonfield, N.J., and Sun Homes, headquartered in Pawling, N.Y., have combined their expertise to design a neighborhood of maintenance-free residencies that feature traditional shingle and clapboard-style architecture in a garden setting.
A defining element of Palmer Hill's offering is choice. Buyers may choose from four single-level two bedroom condominium plans, ranging from 1,100 to1,550 s/f, and from three three-bedroom townhouse plans, ranging from 2,300 to 2,600 s/f, plus optional finished basements. All homes feature name brand and high quality appliances. Each home also boasts garage parking for two automobiles.
All homes connect to the natural setting with outdoor living areas: condominium homes include one or more private balconies and terraces, while the townhouses open to private patios and gardens.
Palmer Hill residents will also enjoy a 3,500 s/f clubhouse, which features a fitness center, business center, and clubroom with a grand fireplace.
