Choyce Peterson sells 4,200 s/f office space to Ricks Main Roofing
Norwalk, CT 8-10 Byington Pl. was once a location for a law practice being situated across the street from the Norwalk Courthouse, but the courthouse never reopened following its COVID-related closure in early 2020. Meanwhile, the Wall St./West Ave. neighborhood has seen significant development, with more in the pipeline.
Owners Michael Corsello, Esq. and Randy Cohen, Esq. appointed Choyce Peterson, Inc., a commercial real estate brokerage firm, as their exclusive listing agent to market for sale their 4,200 s/f office building. Choyce Peterson’s vice president and capital markets leader, Scott Peterson and vice president and landlord representation leader, Charlene O’Connell led a multi-channel marketing effort, including extensive outreach to companies and investors in Norwalk and beyond.
“The property’s proximity to Rte. 7, with its connections to the Merrit Pkwy. and I-95, makes it one of the most accessible buildings for commuters in lower Fairfield County,” said Peterson. “We had offers from multiple buyers.”
The buyer is Rick Tavella, owner of Rick’s Main Roofing Ltd., a locally-owned family business established over 58 years ago.

The terms of the sale work particularly well as I will remain in the building as a tenant and continue to practice law here as I have for 42 years.”
