How do you balance your rising career with your personal life? In an industry that often requires long days and weekend work, it is challenging to leave the work behind and decompress. Establishing boundaries between work and personal time at the end of the day or weekend, spending time with family and friends, and taking time off for vacations are critical approaches to balancing stress and burnout. Having proper time management skills has helped me maintain these boundaries.
Who are the key people in your life that have contributed to your success? My first job in this field was working as a residential carpenter alongside my uncle. I learned hands-on skills and many facets of the industry that influenced me to continue my career in construction. Training alongside an experienced professional in commercial and residential construction, I retained the importance of balancing quality craftsmanship, time management, and customer service to deliver successful projects. My family and coworker’s support has contributed to my continued success.
