ASM aims to provide members with relevant and timely programming
ASM has had a busy spring with in-person and virtual events for our members. We aim to provide our members with relevant and timely programming to help them navigate the construction industry and maximize their business efforts.
Earlier this spring, we held an in-person seminar on the OSHA citation process and a “Lunch and Learn Webinar” focused on succession planning. Both programs were well attended and well received. Many thanks to attorney Jonathan Schaefer from Robinson + Cole for presenting on the OSHA citation process and our friends at Withum for providing great information to our members regarding succession planning.
On May 7th, ASM held a “Lobby Day” at the State House in Boston. ASM members visited with representatives, senators, and staff members to share our thoughts on issues important to all Massachusetts subcontractors. We appreciate the warm welcome we received and look forward to working closely with our legislators as we move toward the end of the legislative session. Thank you to all the ASM members who volunteered to participate, as it was a great day.
June has been another busy month. On June 12, we held a “Lunch and Learn Webinar” entitled “Don’t Lose Money When You Lose Productivity.” We also held a virtual Safety Roundtable, “Mental Health in Construction,” on June 18.
We are a few weeks away from ASM’s annual Golf Tournament, which will be held at Pine Hills Golf Club on July 11. Player spots are sold out, but a few sponsorships remain available, so consider sponsoring and visiting our website at www.associatedsubs.com.
Another of ASM’s signature events, the GC (General Contractor) Showcase, is scheduled for October 24. Please keep an eye out for these details in the coming months. The GC Showcase is only available to ASM members, so if you wish to participate, please contact the ASM office to join as a member.
