Washington Trust opens 27th branch located <br>at Smithfield Crossing, 371 Putnam Pike

Smithfield, RI Washington Trust opened its 27^th branch located at Smithfield Crossing, 371 Putnam Pike.

Edward Handy III, Washington Trust chairman and CEO, and Mary Noons, Washington Trust president and COO, as well as other members of the bank’s executive team, were on hand to welcome town manager, Randy Rossi, as the branch’s first official customer.

“We’re thrilled to become part of the Smithfield community,” said Handy. “The Smithfield branch, along with our North Providence, Johnston, and Cumberland offices, provides added convenience for our customers in northern Rhode Island.”
