Rockland Trust appoints Wadlinger as regional executive and hires Nusinov as senior vice president
Hanover, MA Rockland Trust Company has appointed Joe Wadlinger as senior vice president and commercial regional executive. In this role, Wadlinger will lead the bank’s commercial banking division north of Boston and coordinate overall business efforts across the region.
“Joe’s deep understanding of the marketplace, passion for coaching, and experience developing and executing comprehensive business strategies will help us deepen our presence north of the city,” said Jim Rizzo, chief commercial banking officer at Rockland Trust. “Under Joe’s wing, our talented customer-facing colleagues will introduce more individuals and businesses to our relationship-oriented banking services.”
Wadlinger brings over three decades of sales and banking experience. Most recently, he served as executive vice president and chief lending officer for North Shore Bank. Before that, Wadlinger spent five years at People’s United Bank where he served as senior vice president, head of commercial sales & business strategy after being promoted from senior vice president, head of non-profit & business banking. Before joining People’s, Wadlinger worked in senior commercial and small business roles at Citizen’s Bank.

Wadlinger earned his bachelor of science at Northeastern University, majoring in Marketing & Finance.
In addition, Rockland Trust has hired Boris Nusinov as senior vice president and commercial lending center manager for the Burlington Commercial Banking Center. Nusinov will be leading the bank’s corporate banking team as well as developing new commercial and industrial (C&I) and leveraged finance relationships across New England.
Nusinov joins Rockland Trust with over 20 years of experience across the commercial banking industry. Most recently, Nusinov served as a senior vice president and relationship manager in corporate banking at Eastern Bank for nearly seven years. Prior to joining Eastern, he served as senior vice president at Santander Bank, where he helped start a de novo leveraged finance group. In both roles he was responsible for business development and client management for mid-market companies and financial sponsors.

Nusinov serves on the MBA Advisory Board of the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. He is a Free Mason at the Good Samaritan Lodge in Reading, MA. Nusinov earned his MBA from Northeastern University and is a graduate of the Emerging Leaders program at the University of Massachusetts Boston.
