Stonington, CT Lila Delman Compass has sold ‘The Point House’, 5 Water St. for $7.5 million. Lori Joyal, managing broker of Lila Delman Compass’ Watch Hill Office, represented the seller. According to data maintained by the CT SmartMLS, this transaction marks the highest single-family home sale ever recorded in this town.
‘The Point House’, which was originally built in 1908 by the Army Corps of Engineers for the lighthouse keeper, sits in front of the Stonington Lighthouse with water views of Fishers Island, Watch Hill, Montauk and Block Island. The home has seven bedrooms, six full and two half bathrooms, three wood-burning fireplaces, a wine cellar & sauna. Property highlights include a heated swimming pool, stone terraces and a dock.
