Ryder and Suny of Cummings lease 25,000 s/f to Discovery Labware

Discovery Labware, Inc. Becton Dickinson and Co. (BD) combined a face-lift with its recent multi-year, 25,000 s/f lease extension at 6 Henshaw St.
According to company officials, Discovery Labware is a business unit of BD Biosciences, which is one of three business segments of BD. BD Biosciences is one of the largest businesses supporting life sciences today with regional offices in Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Japan, Canada and the U.S.
Cummings Prop'. associate property manager, David Ryder, said that Discovery Labware benefited from Cummings Properties' vertically integrated structure that includes in-house leasing, design, construction and property management. "Our team worked with BD's global real estate group to develop a program to renovate and update the space. We were able to complete the entire project in 45 days while their operations were on-going," he added.
Ron Rondeau, facilities manager for Discovery Labware, said this was his first time working with Cummings Props. on a construction project. "We were impressed with their professionalism and on-time delivery. The project was exceptionally smooth."
Discovery Labware was represented by Tamie Thompson, managing director of Jones Lang LaSalle. David Suny, senior operations manager, and Ryder represented Cummings Properties.
