Crepeau of BOND honored with AGCMA award
Boston, MA BOND Building congratulates employee Stephanie Crepeau for her recognition from the Association of General Contractors of Massachusetts (AGCMA) as Building Women in Construction Inspire Awards’ Rising Star of the Year. This award is designed to recognize and celebrate the most exemplary women in construction who demonstrate leadership, generosity, innovation, and unwavering commitment to their career, colleagues and industry.
Crepeau, who was also recently named a ‘Rising Star’ by Construction Dive, first began her career at BOND Building as an intern while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in construction management at Wentworth Institute of Technology. Once she officially joined BOND Building in 2017 as a field engineer, she rose to the position of superintendent in 2021 thanks to her perseverance, methodical planning, and attention to detail.
“From the start, we immediately recognized Stephanie as an emerging leader and someone we wanted on our team,” said Francis Hayes, president of BOND Building.
“She is a valued and highly accomplished member of the BOND family, and there is no one more deserving of the AGC award recognition. Her passion for what she does, consistent hard work, and strong leadership make her a perfect recipient for this honor.”
Outside of her work at BOND Building, Crepeau serves as an adjunct professor at Wentworth and is passionate about training the industry’s future workforce. In partnership with the AGCMA, Crepeau hosted the Building Women in Construction podcast where she has interviewed many of the industry’s top female professionals. As a staunch supporter of career and technical education programs and a proud alumnus of Pinkerton Academy, she created a program in partnership with BOND Building that is designed to expose high school students to trade careers. She also founded the Career Explorations Fund aimed at providing financial resources and assistance for students seeking a profession in the construction industry.
