Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck open Westport, Conn. office; adds labor and employment litigator, Khanna
Westport, CT Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck LLP (KDV), a leading national law firm, has opened a new local office and has added labor and employment partner Reshma Khanna, who will serve as the office managing partner. The new office will serve new and existing clients in the areas of labor and employment, professional liability, and commercial litigation. The new KDV office is located at 55 Post Rd. West, Suite 200.
“When we opened our Westchester office last spring and added 11 attorneys in the office in October, we had a goal of increasing our service across the region and reaching into upstate New York and Connecticut,” said Michael Kaufman, co-managing partner of KDV. “Reshma’s established relationships in New York and Connecticut will be a great asset as we leverage our platform in the regions.”
Khanna represents a wide variety of clients in both transactional and litigious labor and employment matters at the state and federal level.
She also counsels’ clients in professional liability. Khanna was a labor and employment partner and handled claims for large insurers and claim management agencies. Prior to beginning her legal career, Khanna spent nearly a decade working in the insurance industry as a claims examiner and analyst.

Khanna received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University. She is a member of the South Asian Bar Association of New York, the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society. She also is a Diversity Admissions Board Member at her alma mater Brooklyn Law School, involved in the school’s mentor program, and serves as a mediator with the New York Peace Institute, a non-profit agency supporting New York City residents in resolving disputes outside of the court system. She is licensed in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York.
