What are some of the benefits of being a mentor or having a mentor? I have been lucky enough to have amazing mentors throughout my career that have been instrumental in my development and success in the industry. However, one of the best parts of reaching a point in my career where I am seasoned enough to become the mentor, is being able to offer guidance to up and coming female colleagues. The tides are changing, and with more females making a name for themselves in commercial construction, it’s an honor to be able to help empower and support their growth, and in turn contribute to expanding diversity in the industry.
