Brookline, MA Claremont Companies alongside local dignitaries and VIPs celebrated the opening of the Hilton Garden Inn Boston Brookline (the hotel) and its restaurant, Punch Bowl, with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Located at 700 Brookline Ave., this new 10-story, 174-room, all glass exterior Brookline landmark hotel was designed by world renowned architecture and design firm, CambridgeSeven, and built by Callahan Construction.
Hilton Garden Inn is owned by Claremont Brookline Avenue LLC and operated by Claremont Companies LLC.
The hotel is located steps away from Boston’s Longwood Medical and academic area, and the MBTA Green Line that connects Brookline to all points in the city. Minutes from Fenway Park, Boston universities, and downtown, this urban hotel has revitalized and energized the historic gateway between Brookline and Boston, connecting Brookline Ave. and Boylston St.
Hilton Garden Inn also celebrated the grand opening of its on-property modern city tavern, Punch Bowl, the newest concept by creative and renowned restauranteurs Jen and Josh Ziskin. Created by executive chef Amanda Lowry, Punch Bowl’s menu features a contemporary take on traditional New England fare and offers signature cocktails influenced by the city’s unique history and location. Punch Bowl now offers additional outdoor dining on River Rd. adjacent to the Emerald Necklace.
The hotel offers an elevated, modern, and contemporary design inspired by the natural elements of the adjacent Emerald Necklace that complements the brand’s hallmark bright and airy décor. Each guest room features floor to ceiling windows with panoramic views of the Boston skyline, Olmsted Park, or Boston’s Famous Citgo sign in Kenmore Sq.
As Hilton Garden Inn responds to the COVID-19 pandemic, some services and amenities have been adjusted to adhere to health and safety guidance from local government. To emphasize their commitment to the health and safety of guests, the property is participating in the Hilton CleanStay Program to deliver an industry-defining standard of cleanliness and disinfection.
