Cambridge Polymer Group to move to Cummings Properties' TradeCenter 128
Woburn, MA Cambridge Polymer Group is moving its operation from Charlestown to a 17,000 s/f space at Cummings Properties’ TradeCenter 128 business campus. It is expected to occupy its custom-built new office and laboratory facility in August.
“Because of the scope of our operation and the varied, specialized services we provide, we had a large, highly technical space requirement,” said Cambridge Polymer Group president Dr. Stephen Spiegelberg, a Winchester resident. “TradeCenter 128 offered us a customizable space in a very accessible, attractive suburban office park setting. We were also drawn to Cummings’ in-house capabilities for the design and construction of our new facility.”
Senior leasing director Rob Yacobian of Cummings Properties worked with Dr. Spiegelberg and Newmark director Joseph Pearce on the transaction.
“As businesses in all industries return to the workplace, many are looking to move from the city to the suburbs for easier commutes and much more affordable rents,” said Yacobian. “Space in the inner suburbs along the 128 corridor can average between one-half to one-third the rates found in Boston and Cambridge.”
The landmark TradeCenter 128 campus directly fronts I-95 and is one mile from the I-93 interchange. Anchored by Middlesex County Superior Court, it offers first-class fully built out and build-to-suit space for a wide range of commercial uses, including corporate offices, laboratories, healthcare facilities, retail storefronts, and executive suites. The campus features numerous amenities, including Strega Italiano restaurant, a day care center, dry cleaner, hair salon, and multiple banks and fitness services.
