Cranston, RI Neil Amper, SIOR of Capstone Properties has sold a 157,913 s/f building on 4.59 acres located at 1637 Elmwood Ave.
The building was built in 1920 and used by General Electric Lighting for many years. It most recently was occupied by Scott Brass Company.
The seller was Elmwood Realty Acquisitions and purchased by Cranston Restart who will occupy the building to manufacture cabinets. The asking sale price was $1.2 million.
In two seperate transactions, Amper has leased flex space at 24 Minnesota Ave. in Warwick.
The first space of 5,560 s/f was leased to Love for Life. The second space of 4,850 s/f was leased to Direct Discount who purchases scratch and dent appliances and resells them to the public.
24 Minnesota Ave. is a 21,000 s/f industrial/warehouse built in 1984 on a 1.8 acre lot. The building is located 2 miles from I-95 exit 14 off of Post Rd. (Rte. 1) and is 4 miles from TF Green Airport and 13 miles to the Port of Davisville/Quonset Business Park.
