DJSA Architecture promotes Silvia to associate
Raynham, MA DJSA Architecture PC, has promoted Zachary Silvia to the position of associate.
In this role, Silvia, who prior to his promotion, held the title of project architect, is responsible for working with clients from project conception through occupancy, participating in all phases of project design and construction administration, and the evaluation of site conditions and constraints, among other duties.
Silvia joined DJSA in November of 2017. He holds both a bachelor of science in Architecture and a master of architecture from Roger Williams University and is licensed to practice architecture in Massachusetts. He is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
While studying architecture, Silvia worked as a laborer for a contractor to further understand and appreciate the skill in producing architectural renderings and how they are interpreted in the field.
“It’s a pleasure to announce Zach’s promotion to associate,” said Dennis Swart, president of DJSA. “His attention to detail and strong management skills combined with broad experience in both the private and public practice of architecture is outstanding; the entire DJSA team congratulates Zach. As our sector begins returning to a more normal work environment, there are many companies seeking to expand or improve their facilities and we are keenly aware of the importance of having the right team in place to meet those needs.”
