2019 Annual Review: Jay Maschmeier of Tecta America New England

What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2019?
In our occupation as a commercial roofing company we are constantly dealing with risk and potential for injury. With regard to construction in general, the roofing industry is in the top 5 for death and severe injury. We’re proud to say this year our crews have worked 271,000 hours without an incident, which to me is a great achievement. 

Our company is able to accomplish this because every person on our team is diligent about safety practices and cares for one another; it’s because of their commitment to safety that we all go home at night to our loved ones.
