Sherin and Lodgen reps. Goldman Sachs Asset Management in acquisition of 17-site solar portfolio
Boston, MA According to law firm Sherin and Lodgen LLP, its Renewable Energy Practice Group served as local counsel to the Renewable Power Group of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, L.P. in its acquisition of a portfolio of 17 operating solar sites, totaling 23.5 MW, across the state. The firm’s role included coordination and review of all due diligence, including title, survey, tax agreements, leasing and real estate evaluation, and state solar incentives.
The Sherin and Lodgen legal team was led by Bethany Bartlett, chair of the firm’s Renewable Energy Group, and partner Beth Goldstein, and included of counsel Colleen Collins, and associates Matthew Cote and Tyler Ballew.
The solar facilities were developed by Clean Energy Collective, of Boulder, Col., and are part of the Massachusetts SREC-II program. Stoel Rives LLP served as lead counsel in the acquisition.
